Dr. Chevalier provides
technical, project management, and analytical expertise and support in all areas
of quality improvement and patient safety. She has worked with a broad array of
stakeholders, including: hospitals; long term care facilities; regulatory
agencies; insurers/payers; and professional associations. Areas of experience
include: developing, implementing and supporting process and performance
improvement strategies/projects; forecasting trends and analyzing their impacts
(i.e. value based purchasing and other reporting initiatives; long term care
options; marketplace demands); accreditation/regulatory affairs consulting;
needs’ assessment and problem solving; and policy analysis.
Experience includes:

Consolidated monitoring with local health departments (program
surveys to ensure compliance)
o
Approval of state aid applications and quarterly vouchers
o
Developed and implemented training program on family health for
local health departments in the CDRO
o
Direct
supervision of approximately 60 clinical staff,
o
Liaison with Article 28 Diagnostic and
Treatment
Center
affiliated with Liberty Enterprises,
o
Assisted implementation of HCBS OMRDD waiver for community based
residential Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs) as an alternative to
Intermediary Care Facilities (ICFs).
o
Assisted implementation of HCBS OMRDD waiver for day habilitation
(individualized services) as an alternative to day treatment (bundled services).
